FlickerLab is a leading producer of interactive e-books, apps, games, and media rich learning experiences for the iPad and other digital platforms. We have created dozens of titles for the iPad, Barnes & Noble’s NOOK Color, and Android. From Skippyjon Jones and Olivia to Jamberry and The Berenstain Bears, some of the largest publishers bring their stories to life. FlickerLab has demonstrated particular market leadership in bringing animation to enhanced e-books and apps.

Harnessing the enormous potential of these mobile technologies to entertain and educate involves more than reconfiguring existing media on new delivery platforms. Our team has been at the forefront of this innovation, having collectively produced and written over 300 storybooks, workbooks, and other publications with an emphasis on creative layout and interactivity including: 90+ workbooks for Random House/Sylvan Learning and 60+ storybooks for Hooked on Phonics.
FlickerLab is also creating games and educational apps for clients including Penguin Young Readers and Anenberg Learner, in addition to over 100 casual games and numerous game sites created for broadcasters all over the world.

An iPad and iPhone game created for Penguin Publishing to publicize their popular series, The Chronicles Of Vladimir Tod. Users travel the board as fangman, avoiding spirits and attempting to seize the Elysian Code to jump through grades and graduate High School.
Journey North: JOURNEY NORTH

FlickerLab is creating a mobile application to allow the hundreds of thousands of students who take part in the Journey North migration tracking project to log real field reports on the migration patterns of different species.
Operation Ajax: OPERATION AJAX
