Hooked on Phonics has been teaching kids to read for decades, garnering dozens of top industry awards and creating generations of enthusiastic readers. FlickerLab's relationship with Hooked on Phonics began in 2006 as we collaborated on the production of the company's successful series of 12 Super Activity Kits, which have since been localized into a number of languages. All of the animation, graphics, live action and post-production for the 12 DVDs in these kits was handled by FlickerLab.

In 2008, continuing our relationship as Hooked on Phonics' primary source for production of live-action and animated content for their DVD products, FlickerLab was brought in to help create the video content for a major re-brand of the company's flagship Learn to Read product line. FlickerLab took on the task of translating this entire literacy system into a graphic and animated language, writing, designing and producing 9 hour-and-a-half long DVDs of original content incorporating literally thousands of individual, curricular based components.
