A&E

Since 2003, FlickerLab has been designing, animating and shooting a high volume of spots and building a range of graphics toolkits for A&E Network’s on and off-air promo needs. In early 2009, A&E decided to capitalize on FlickerLab’s deep design and production resources by creating a virtual, in-house graphics department through FlickerLab to handle much of the network’s day to day on-air needs.

Ongoing work includes custom on-air and theatrical promo packages for A&E’s prime time shows, including the critically acclaimed show The Cleaner, as well as weekly promo elements including lineups, banner bugs & snipes, end-pages and title cards.

Short Cartoon for Michael Moore’s Bowling For Columbine

Described as, “Worth the price of admission” by Variety Magazine, “a joyously funny cartoon sequence” by The Hollywood Reporter, and Oprah as her favorite part of the film when she aired it on her show, FlickerLab’s animated segment in Michael Moore’s film, Bowling for Columbine, was the first Flash animation utilized in a theatrically released feature film.

FlickerLab and its team developed, designed and produced the award-winning update of the Hooked On Phonics interactive learning system, encompassing 36 storybooks, 12 workbooks, 13 animated DVDs, letter and picture flashcards, games, music CDs and online activities.
