The Wild Life: Climate Cartoons

Client: FlickerLab

FlickerLab launched its own animated series, The Wild Life, to teach 8-12 year-olds about climate change. The 26 X 5 minute series was aired in Denmark in the run up to the Copenhagen Climate Conference and was among the Prix Jeunesse finalists in 2010. It was packaged with a tool for kids to make their own climate cartoons. This is a curriculum piece talking about the importance of keeping CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere under 350 parts per million. As of this writing, in 2023, we’re now at 420 parts per million. Yeah, we’re in a #ClimateEmergency, and we’re not addressing it.
