The ever delightful and prolific producer Joan Stern brought us on board to create this spot highlighting the crucial work being done by Bloomberg Philanthropies to move the economy away from fossil fuels and towards a sustainable future.

FlickerLab worked with the Fuse network to explore a variety of styles of animated Station IDs.

FlickerLab created a series of animations for broadcast, web and even a live-animated satellite media tour for the American Heart Association‘s “Face the Fats” campaign. The campaign featured the Bad Fats Brothers as well as The Better Fats Sisters and aimed to teach the differences between good and bad fats and help people maintain a healthy diet.

FlickerLab worked with Z Tribeca and SKD Knickerbocker to create this animated explainer on the vital concept of resilience in urban planning for the Rockefeller Foundation as part of their 100 Resilient Cities initiative.

Radical Media and director Alex Horwitz tapped FlickerLab to create all the animation and graphics for their PBS documentary, Hamilton’s America, a behind-the-scenes look at the smash hit musical and the history that informed it. We drew from a huge volume of historical artwork and documentation to fill in the narrative, and help recreate the world Hamilton grew up and grew to power in, creating numerous sequences throughout the film.

We created this educational animation for kids for the ZAC Foundation, an amazing organization established to prepare children and families for a lifetime of water safety. The animated short was adapted from their picture book, The ABC and D’s of Water Safety. If we all learned these simple ideas about water safety, kids would be a lot safer.

FlickerLab wrote, designed and produced this four-part series for Sesame Studios. Each film was part of a pair of time-lapse illustrated versions of classic fairy tales, each offering a different perspective on the story. We hear from the three little pigs, but also the big (not so bad) wolf. Cinderalla’s story is matched with Prince Charming. The shorts were drawn on an actual white board, and captured with a time-lapse camera rig.

FlickerLab created this video for New York’s First Lady Chirlane McCray’s vital new initiative on mental health in New York City, Thrive NYC. We’re extremely proud to have played this small role for the city we love, and in service of a woman we greatly admire.

FlickerLab created this lovely little animation for Reslient NOLA, with SDK Knickerbocker and Z Tribeca on the 10th anniversary of Katrina, to help highlight the ways the city is building for the future.
